Someone asked me today, have rich people fully healed their abundance level or overall energy? In other words, do you have to heal to be rich?

The answer to this is both simple and layered.

Along with this question, in this article, I will also answer other questions such as:

• How much money does one need to feel rich?
• Does a lack mindset generate abundance?
• What do I do to manifest abundance?

First, getting back to the question: do you have to heal to be rich? The short answer is, no, you don’t need to heal in order to be rich.

If you don’t believe me, the evidence we have on Earth is astounding. I don’t have enough fingers and toes on my body to count how many rich people there are in the world who are not at peace with themselves and they conduct business knowingly damaging the environment and purposely hurting others.

There is one thing that rich people do have in their energy and that is they have sizable lower chakras, especially the root chakra. This makes sense because money is created and held in the sacral chakra and brought down into the physical into the root. Their heart chakra and upper chakras, though, may be blocked.

So if one doesn’t have to heal to be rich, what is all this fuss about having to heal ourselves so we can generate abundance and manifest?

The answer is: you don’t have to heal to be rich, but you do have to heal in order to manifest your heart and soul’s dream into physical reality.

Most of the people I know who are spiritually awakened aren’t trying to get rich in an industry or business they don’t really care about. They’re trying to make their soul missions come true and strike it big at the same time.

You see, a lot of rich people who haven’t yet healed (and I say this without any judgment but simply as a way to define the archetype I’m speaking about here) created massive business empires but they’re also not following the dreams from their hearts and souls.

Because who, in their heart and soul, truly wants to destroy themselves, others, and the planet?

If a person has a “dream” to control the world and to make money at the expense of others, this isn’t a dream from their heart and soul. It is from their ego and wounded self.

It takes a boatload of courage and inner strength to be able to follow one’s heart and soul. By comparison, for many people, it is way easier to just make money when the heart and soul aren’t engaged.

If you ask any spiritually awakened entrepreneur, the majority of them will tell you how scary it is to make their heart and soul missions come true.

Rich people who haven’t yet healed might have built empires in industries that don’t scare them because their heart and soul weren’t in it. They don’t care. Their heart isn’t invested in it. It’s easy to build an empire when it doesn’t scare you.

Let’s say a rich person who hasn’t yet healed is in the business of knowingly manufacturing food loaded with toxic, harmful ingredients but his or her secret dream is to be a singer.

Manufacturing toxic food is easy because his or her heart and soul aren’t involved. But if you challenged this person to say, take a singing class or perform in front of others, it might scare him or her so much that this person closes the door on singing and on their hearts. They go back to living a life blind to their own desires, to their soul potential, and to how they are impacting others.

Contrast this with the spiritually awakened business person who dreams of building an empire rooted in their heart and soul mission. They have to build up the strength to face their fears and potential criticism, backlash, and failure. They have to face not feeling good enough and deal with the challenges of not being able to make enough money yet from their passions—and keep going even if it means venturing into the dark night of the ego time and time again.

Do you think a rich person who hasn’t yet healed has the spiritual stamina to go through the dark night of the ego time and time again—willingly? (I know someone who did and transformed beautifully!)

Usually, people don’t go into healing willingly because it will disrupt or collapse the foundation that they’re standing on. It usually takes a spiritual or health crisis of some sort to wake up someone and initiate them into drastic levels of emergency healing.

What do you need to heal to be ‘rich’?

Is there a way to turn on your abundance levels? How do you ‘make’ yourself richer on an energy level?

I was also asked this today and here’s my response: stop trying and stop chasing.

It is almost like asking oneself what do you need to do in order to be loved. There is this get energy behind it and it’s like asking what do I have to give in order to get? What do I need to do in order to be loved?

Giving to get is the way that money transactions work on Earth. We give in order to get.

In some ways, that is how the universal transactions work too. We engage with the universe and people so that we are in the flow of receiving abundance, as money comes from the universe but through people. What we give is more spiritual, such as our presence, our energy, radiance, love, or our breath. But we give this because we are just being ourselves, not because we are trying to get something in return.

How do you heal yourself to abundance?

If you heal yourself just to get rich, the part of you that heals yourself just to get rich also needs to be healed.

You heal to heal, not so you can get xyz. We are needing to heal without an agenda because the part of us that has an agenda is attached to outcome and expectations and needs healing itself.

It would be like saying, what do I have to heal in order to be loved?

The answer is: nothing. You are already loved!

The paradox with healing is that you actually don’t need to heal anything in order to be loved. You are loved now.

When I was healing my abundance blocks, I began it the way that we logically think we might do it: I identified my fears and blocks and went to town on them, trying to ‘bomb’ the fears away one by one. But in the act of doing that, I felt like I was always searching for what was wrong with me and fixing myself. I was also hyperaware or even paranoid about some fear or block that was lurking in my subconscious secretly sabotaging me.

How much money does one need to feel rich?

I used to have a fear that I’m not safe and I need a lot of money and protection to feel safe.

I am not kidding you when I say that a few years ago, I decided that I would feel safe and I would consider myself rich if I had $350 million. Hugs to my younger self! I even had a plan to get there, too.

Any time we set a condition or marker for when we decide to feel or not feel something (like happy or loved), it is the mind wanting to control precisely when it will decide to feel good enough.

With my former self, if I had made $349.9 million, I was pretty sure there’s a part of me that would have felt I didn’t do well enough and something was still missing.

And if I had made $351 million, I know for sure I would have moved the goal post higher because $350 million might not have felt safe enough. I might have said to myself, I think I need $500 million to be safe and I would have whipped myself back into chasing mode and action.

Did you set a number for when you would consider yourself accomplished and enough?

Can you manifest abundance with a lack mindset?

Yes.

People who study universal law will disagree, but we only have to look for physical evidence on Earth to know that this is true. How many famous wealthy people have we heard about who still opt to live humbly or in fear because they are afraid everything they earned will be gone? J.K. Rowling, a creator I greatly admire, told us this in her interview with Oprah.

People with lack mindsets do get rich. All the time. Lack energizes them, sometimes to unhealthy extremes, to gather and hoard money. That same lack energy will drive them to not be able to enjoy it and to handle their wealth with a fear of loss and scarcity mentality.

When shall I consider myself to be rich?

So here’s the thing: I know that on Earth, we measure rich vs. not rich by one thing alone, which is our cash or liquid assets.

I said before that it is easy to be rich on Earth.

But it is another thing to be rich and to be fully at peace, too.

Peace can come in for a person before they get rich or after. But it must come in order for that person to be in a healthy energy flow and in a loving relationship with themselves.

The way I see it is, if we only look at our physical bank accounts, there are only a few rich people in the world, and it depends on who you ask. But in order to manifest our dreams into reality and to strike it big, we can’t look at our physical bank accounts solely.

We also have to look at our energetic and spiritual bank accounts.

From this perspective to me every soul is already rich.

This is because the Universe is rich.

We are the Universe.

We all have equal access to the riches of this universal bank account. Within all of us exists this potential.

I was asked today, when will I consider myself to be rich?

My answer is I feel rich now (and I’m not just saying that. I do feel this way).

The reason is that I am not simply looking at my physical bank account. I am looking at my spiritual, energetic, and universal bank account. I am looking at the totality of my soul potential and the level of my current energy.

Let’s say your physical bank account has $1,000 but your current energy level has the capacity to manifest $1 million. Would you consider yourself to be rich now? I would.

When your energy level has the capacity to manifest $1 million, it means that at any moment, you have the ability to convert this potential into cash. This is what I call spiritual–material liquidity. The ability to convert energy into cash is what makes you rich. It is not what is in your physical bank account.

Where healing comes in is that healing raises your potential and your capacity to handle more energy in your life (more energy = more money). If you dream of being a millionaire, but you cannot handle the energy of being a millionaire, you will block yourself from getting there in order to protect yourself.

In other words, if you intuitively and subconsciously sense that becoming a millionaire will make you sick, for example, or that all the people you love will abandon you because they don’t truly want the best for you, you will avoid being a millionaire to protect yourself.

This is where healing comes in: to remove these layers of self–protection and fears and to unblock your potential.

At any given moment, we have huge amounts of potential within our souls and energies to make quantum leaps into unimaginable abundance. Potential means that you have a mountain of winning lottery tickets that you just need to play and cash in. All tickets are winning lottery tickets, too. You either win money or you win growth or both. It is win–win. You just need to play them!
